The PerfectEdge bits are way better than the ones I bought at the local hardware store. The difference in smoothness is night and day.

The control is fantastic. I was able to get a very precise finish on some intricate wood pieces.

I mainly do metalwork and finding bits that don't chatter is difficult. These have been a pleasant surprise. I've used them to clean up the edges on several steel plates and they leave a very consistent finish. The dual bearing system really helps when you're moving around corners. I didn't feel like I was going to lose control at any point. They also seem to hold an edge quite well. After several hours of use they are still cutting cleanly without needing much pressure. It's a nice change from the cheaper bits that dull after 15 minutes of work. Definitely worth the price for the time it saves in cleanup.
